As a little girl, I styled looks out of what little I had—hand-me-downs, school clothes on a budget, and pieces I wore like armor to express what I didn’t yet have words for. My older sister inspired me, my mom taught me resilience, and God gave me the gift of imagination.
Fashion became a language. One that made me feel seen.
However, life and fear caused me to set that dream aside. Years later, sitting in a leather class in the green woods of North Carolina, God whispered a new word: boldness. Boldness to live again. To dream again. To create something bigger than myself—and to make space for others to do the same.
